Sallie L. Porter, CRNA, Joins Asheville Anesthesia Associates
Sallie L. Porter, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, has joined Asheville Anesthesia Associates, P.A. Ms. Porter graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She received a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Before joining Asheville Anesthesia Associates, Ms. Porter was employed by Mission Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are advanced practice registered nurses who are certified to administer anesthesia after completing anesthesia graduate school programs and a rigorous national exam.
Asheville Anesthesia has served Western North Carolina for more than 40 years and provides anesthesia and perioperative management services to area hospitals and surgery centers throughout the region.
